Our History |
Monmouth Junior Team Tennis (MJTT) is a volunteer-based organization serving juniors with healthy, enjoyable and competitive tennis activities. Established in 1987, MJTT has been serving in Monmouth county of New Jersey for over 30 years. Our goal is to promote physical fitness, team spirit, sportsmanship, and friendship among our juniors, as well as parents, through fun-filled yet competitive tennis activities. We would like to thank the many volunteers who greatly managed and supported MJTT over the past many years! Particularly, we would like to thank Elsie & Rosemary for initiating the voluntary service to serve underprivileged juniors through tennis in 1987. We also would like to thank Ms. Cecilia Shiu, who had served as Vice-President and Treasurer between 2011 and 2015. We would also like to acknowledge the support from the USTA Eastern Section and the Middletown Township (http://www.middletownnj.org) for allowing us to use Tindall Park Tennis Courts as our home courts over the years. |
